India meet Sri Lanka in Dubai for an eighth Women's Asia Cup

India play Sri Lanka in the Women's T20 Asia Cup final at Dubai International Stadium at 18:30 local time on Sunday, 13 September. India have won the title seven times and are unbeaten in this edition. Sri Lanka are defending champions. They beat India by eight wickets in the 2024 final. That is the recent memory both dressing rooms will carry in.

India beat Bangladesh by 40 runs in the first semi-final on 10 September. India made 149 for 6. Shafali Verma scored 64 off 40 balls, with lives on 6, 11, 50 and 56. Bangladesh finished 109 for 7. Deepti Sharma took 3 for 26. Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by four wickets on 11 September, chasing 131 and getting there at 134 for 6 in 18.4 overs after a top-order slide. Harshitha Samarawickrama made 36 and Kavisha Dilhari 33.
