External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will travel to Russia on August 23-24 at the invitation of First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.
During the visit he will co-chair the 27th session of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation.
The talks are expected to cover bilateral trade, energy, defence and technology cooperation. India has maintained steady engagement with Russia despite Western pressure over the war in Ukraine.
