The Cockroach Janta Party has announced a protest march in Delhi on September 5 to press the central government over commitments made during the July agitation.
In a statement on X, the party said the Union government had failed to honour promises concerning the withdrawal of FIRs against students and other protesters. The march is planned from India Gate to the Delhi police headquarters.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and spokespersons Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka appeared together in recent appearances, marking a more visible joint presence after earlier actions at Jantar Mantar.
The July protests centred on youth-related demands. The party now frames the September event as a test of whether those commitments will be kept.
Police and administrative preparations for the march remain to be announced. Previous demonstrations by the group have drawn attention for their unconventional branding and focus on student issues.
The announcement adds to a series of youth-led actions that have challenged political parties across the spectrum on questions of employment, education and accountability.
